You must consider how many codes you will needs; many of models are limited by the numbers of codes they can support. You also need to decide if you need a dedicate mobile app that allow you to lock or unlock your doors, receive mobile alerts, or control your locks remotely via WiFi solution.
The next step is to determine which features are must-haves and which feature you can do without. Lastly, what kind of solution do you want – key cards, fobs, smartphone app, finger print or other than that?
 

Durability

Due to the lock will likely be outside, it's susceptible to weather extremes and vandalism. Check whether the lock is weatherproof, coldproof, heat resistant, etc., and do check on the material with the solidity proven.
